They change so fast at this age, and every new thing feels like a small miracle. One month they're a sleepy bundle; the next they're sitting up, beaming, full of opinions. My Sitter & Beyond sessions capture babies and toddlers exactly as they are: curious, wriggly and bursting with personality.
This is also home to the cake smash — that joyful, frosting-everywhere first-birthday tradition that makes for the most wonderful, giggle-filled photographs. I provide everything and clean up every last crumb, so you can simply enjoy the mess.
Sitter milestones, half-birthdays, first steps, first cake: if it's worth remembering, it's worth photographing — and these sessions are some of the most fun I do.
Every Stage Worth Keeping
Whenever you feel there's a moment worth capturing, there's a session for it. Whatever you'd like to call it, we'll shape the day around your little one and exactly where they are right now.
Baby & Older Baby Sessions
For babies from around 3 months to 2 years — whenever you'd love to capture how they're growing and changing. Perfect for those gorgeous, expressive months full of new personality.
Sitter Sessions
The classic "sitter" session, usually around 6–9 months, when your baby can sit up unaided and beam at the world. One of the very sweetest stages of all.
Milestone Sessions
First steps, half-birthdays, a new tooth, or simply a stage you never want to forget. Milestone sessions mark whatever you feel is worth remembering.
Cake Smash & Birthdays
The joyful, frosting-everywhere first-birthday cake smash — and birthday celebrations at any age. I provide the set-up and clean up every last crumb, so you simply enjoy the giggles.

There are no strict rules — we're only ever guided by the light, the season, and the vibe you're dreaming of. Here are your options.
At Home
Familiar, comfortable and relaxed — lovely for babies happiest in their own space, with their own things.
Outdoors at Sunset
Warm golden-hour light in a Sussex field or woodland — gorgeous for sitters and toddlers who love to explore.
In the Studio
My boho studio in Billingshurst is perfect for cake smash — fully set up, mess-friendly, cleaned up by me.
The Journey Together
Booking a session with me is easy and unhurried from the very first message. Here's exactly what to expect.

Step One
You enquire & we book
Tell me the milestone or birthday you're celebrating, and whether you'd love outdoors, studio, or a cake smash. I'll answer every question you have. We'll choose your date together, and to reserve it I ask for a non-refundable £90 deposit and a signed contract within 48 hours.

Step Two
We plan together
We'll plan outfits, timing and (for cake smash) the cake and colour scheme so it all comes together beautifully on the day.

Step Three
Your session
Playful, giggly and led entirely by your little one. You join in or step back — whatever keeps them happiest — while I capture it all. The remaining balance is due on the day of your session.

Step Four
Your gallery
Within 3–6 weeks (4–8 weeks during busy season), your warm, joy-filled gallery arrives — every wobble and giggle, kept forever.

On The Day
We follow your little one's lead — there's no forcing smiles. I capture who they really are, wobbles, giggles and all.
Warm, neutral tones and simple, sweet set-ups that keep the focus on your baby. For cake smash, I provide the cake set-up and props.
Let them explore, play and (for cake smash) make a glorious mess. You relax, I'll catch every joyful moment and tidy up afterwards.
